Does Figo cover pre-existing conditions?
Covered once your dog has been free of symptoms and treatment for 365 days in a row. Genetic, knee, orthopedic and chronic conditions never count as cured.
Does Figo cover vet exam fees?
Not covered unless the optional Office Visit and Exam Fees cover is bought
Does Figo cover behavioural training or a behaviourist?
Only with the optional Holistic and Alternative & Behavioral Problems cover.
Does Figo pet insurance cover dental?
Dental illness covered if you follow your vet's dental advice, including a yearly dental exam. Damage from an accident is covered.
Does Figo cover cruciate ligament surgery?
6-month waiting period, which you can waive with an orthopedic waiver form sent within 30 days. Both knees count as one.
How does Figo treat a condition on both sides, like both knees?
Knee and ligament conditions count as bilateral and related, regardless of cause
How old does my puppy need to be for Figo?

Does Figo offer a multi-pet discount?
5% on each policy once you have two or more pets. It stays at 5% however many pets you add.
Does Figo cover cancer treatment?
Covered as an illness. A type of cancer diagnosed before your start date, or before the waiting period ended, is never covered, even if it comes back later.
Does Figo cover hip dysplasia?
Treated as an orthopedic condition: a 6-month waiting period for dogs, which a vet can waive with an orthopedic exam and waiver form.
