What’s on your listing

  • Your Bark Score

Four things, each scored 0 to 5: reputation, ethics, credentials and service breadth. The same rules for every trainer, and nobody can pay for a higher score.

  • How you train

Every listing is labelled Force-free, Balanced, E-collar-centric or Not stated. We never hide a trainer for their methods; we just say clearly how they work.

  • Services and details

What you offer, where you train, how to get in touch. Owners find you through your city page and through the specialisms you cover.

  • What members say

Members can recommend trainers they’ve used, and their latest words show on your listing. Recommendations sit next to the Bark Score but never change it.

How the Bark Score works

Claiming it takes three steps

  1. 1

Email us from your business address

Use an address on your website’s own domain, like you@yourbusiness.com, and tell us which listing is yours. That’s how we know it’s really you.

  2. 2

    We check and verify

A member of staff checks the address matches the website on your listing, then marks it verified.

  3. 3

Your listing gets the owner extras

A “Verified trainer” badge on your forum replies, a short “A note from the owner” section on your listing, and a direct line for corrections.

Verified owners don’t edit their listing directly.

That keeps every listing fair and comparable. Instead, you write a short note in your own words, which appears once staff have approved it, and you send us corrections, which we apply. If something’s wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it.
