Disagree with ideas, never with people. Assume the person asking is doing their best for their dog.

Nobody here gets called a bad owner. If you think something’s risky, say why and suggest what to try instead.

Share what happened to you
Your own experience is the most useful thing you can post. Say when something is your opinion, and when you’re not sure.

Vet first for health worries
Members can share what helped their dog, but the forum isn’t a vet. If your dog is unwell or hurt, call a vet now and post later.

Trainers are welcome, sales pitches aren’t
Verified trainers can answer questions and link to their Barklopedia listing. Please don’t message members to sell sessions.

No spam or self-promotion
No adverts, affiliate links or posts written to promote a business, product or website.

Only post photos you can share
Post photos you took, or ones you have permission to use. Don’t share other people’s personal details.

Report it, don’t argue it
If something breaks these rules, use Report. A moderator will look at it.
