Hey! My dog Ollie licks everything hands, furniture, you name it. Is this just a Lab thing, or is there a way to curb it? It’s sweet but also kind of non-stop!

Cooper has his moments with the licking, too! Sometimes it seems to be caused by boredom or anxiety. Have you tried offering a lick mat with peanut butter or yogurt? It may help to distract him and tire him out a little

Hey Rachel!
Diesel used to do the same thing licking furniture or objects around the house. I started redirecting him to a chew toy whenever he’d start licking something, which helped a lot. Also, I’ve found that keeping things like puzzle toys or a busy ball can keep his mouth occupied and take his focus off licking
