Tipitina and Ripple The Beginning Jennifer and Marley The Grateful Dog founder, Jennifer Topalian, grew up with dogs her whole life. As a little girl, Jennifer felt a deep connection with dogs. At age 22, she moved into her own home and adopted a chocolate Lab named Marley. In 2009, Jennifer adopted Rascal and chose to use positive reinforcement, a non-forceful way of training in order to have an effective yet loving relationship with her dog.
